Westworld Season 2 Timeline – Westworld Fans Have Found Another Important Key to the Show’s Crazy Timeline

By piecing together various subtle hints throughout Westworld, fans have been able to create a rough sketch of the show’s overall timeline. The park was made about 34 years before what we can consider the “present-day” robot uprising. While it’s unclear exactly when Bernard’s “memories” are taking place, we can at least assume that he woke up on the shore in Season Two, Episode One a few days after Dolores shot Robert Ford.

Episode Four introduced another piece of the timeline: William spent a number of years testing a host version of James Delos with the real man’s mind implanted into the machine. At the end of their tests, an Ed Harris-aged William leaves the Delos host to rot in his testing chamber.

Some eagle-eyed Reddit users noticed that, according to the dates on the terminals, this final scene between Delos and William took place 14 days prior to when Elsie terminated him. That would mean the scene between Delos and William was what happened directly before William entered Westworld as the Man in Black.

Now, it’s unclear when, exactly, Bernard has found Elsie, given his scrambled memories. But it’s important to note that in this scene he does recognize the drone hosts, which he didn’t recognize in the scene with Charlotte.
