‘Wanna’ Rapper Gunna Shows Off His Curated Luxury Bag Collection
Even though you might not be traveling much nowadays, you still need a solid, take-anywhere bag—and there are probably few people who know that better than the Georgia-born rapper, Gunna.
In the second episode of our new video series, “Curated”—where artists show us their most prized possessions—the “Drip Too Hard” artist (Whose new album, Wanna, dropped today) dusted off his impressive collection of designer bags. They’re rare, too—stick around long enough so you can see the Pharrell-designed Chanel bag.
“I feel like if you’re a man with business—you’re always on the go—you gotta have a bag,” Gunna said. “Any successful dude who move around, he got a bag. He got something that he keeps his essentials in. You gotta have that.”
If bags aren’t your thing, then the rapper has a couple other see-it-to-believe-it pieces in his collection. There’s a Versace tiger, for one, gifted to him by his close friend and collaborator, Turbo. Also, Gunna has two good-luck elephants he bought in South Africa sitting around. The artist also took us through something pretty heartwarming—a few of the fan-made pieces of art he’s been sent over the years. Some of the drawings even date back to the very beginning of his career.
“I love pictures like these because it made me remember where I started at,” he said. “And it made me realize how many fans that I got, and you never know like, who listening to you. Just keep going.”
Once you’re done adding some of those bags to your wish list, check out the first episode of our “Curated” series. It’s a good one—rapper G-Eazy took us around his home, where he keeps his art collection, a signed Kobe Bryant Lakers jersey, and a vast collection of Saint Laurent clothes.
