American Vandal Season 2 Trailer

After a successful and critically acclaimed first season, American Vandal is back—and shit is going down. Literally. In the second season, amateur documentarians Peter Maldonado and Sam Ecklund head to private school. Everything is much more Catholic and much more bodily-fluid-oriented. As the season opens up, the school has been hit on Chicken Finger Monday (who doesn’t love chicken fingers?), and a vandal who goes by the Turd Burglar has contaminated the lemonade. What follows is an explosive disaster.
Yikes. Everybody poops, but good god. The disaster doesn’t stop there. The Turd Burglar has video, and he (or she) isn’t afraid to post it. As an administrator says in the trailer, “This guy wanted an audience.” Savage.
Last season followed the characters Maldonado and Ecklund as they dove into their first feature—a case in which penises had been spray painted on cars in the teacher’s parking lot. The mockumentary, which starts as a pretty hysterical venture with the tagline “Who drew the dicks?,” eventually turned into a surprisingly well-framed eight-episode journey that harkens the same type of drawn out suspense of real life documentaries like Netflix’s Making a Murderer.
As for Season Two, only time will tell who the culprit is. If Season One was any indication, it will likely be a big surprise. One thing is for sure though: this is no poopcident. Netflix is set to release Season Two of American Vandal on September 14th.
